    Rinjani Volcano

    Trek to the high point of the island of Lombok; at 3,726 meters tall, Gunung Rinjani is the second highest mountain in Indonesia. Visit the heavenly blue crater lake and dip in the nearby hot springs to soothe your aching feet.

    The world's largest Buddhist temple. The temple consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. Built during the 8th and 9th centuries whilst the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty was going strong, the monument is nestled in the Kedu Valley, in the southern part of Central Java.

    The island of Sumatra is one of the largest in the archipelago. It is above all known for the Gunung Leuser Park, one of the last sanctuaries where orangutans can live in peace while being protected from deforestation. Trekking through the dense jungle, accompanied by a ranger and coming face to face with one of these peaceful primates is an exceptional experience.

    Ijen Volcano

    Ijen sits on the Indonesian island of Java and is a group of volcanoes with a crater lake in the centre. The lake is known as blue fire crater due to the blue fire, a phenomenon that occurs when sulfur burns, that is present here. Blue fire is an electric-blue flame that has the appearance of lava but is in fact simply sulfuric gasses burning.

    Komodo island is one of the largest in the archipelago of the Komodo National Park. It is here that the illusive Komodo Dragon inhabits, they roam through the dense jungle floor, growing up to 3m in length, they are the largest lizard in the world.
