Indonesia Travel Guide

What to see? About the region

  • Clear waters of Menjangan Island, Indonesia

The Island of the Gods is a destination full of surprises, and despite its tourist success, manages to keep all its authenticity, especially in the countryside and villages. On Bali you can find the volcanoes of Batukaru and Batur as well as the famous Kuta Beach and chill out island of Menjangan.
  • Vulcano Ijen, in Java oriental

The most populous island in Indonesia, Java is nonetheless full of natural treasures, in particular its many active volcanoes such as Bromo, Ijen and Semeru. The island is also home to the famous temple sites of Prambananan and Borobodur.
  • Waterfall in North Sumatra

The island of Sumatra is one of the largest in the archipelago. It is above all known for the Gunung Leuser Park, one of the last sanctuaries where orangutans can live in peace while being protected from deforestation. Trekking through the dense jungle, accompanied by a ranger and coming face to face with one of these peaceful primates is an exceptional experience.
