CHILE TREKKING ADVENTURES

The Republic of Chile stretches over half the length of the continent of South America. It is a long thin country sprawling along the South Pacific Ocean on the western coast of South America, flanked by the never-ending Andes to the east. The Andes are the longest mountain range in the world and home to the highest mountains in South America, including Aconcagua, which sits in Argentina. Chile is bordered to the east by Argentina and Bolivia and Peru to the north.

A richly diverse country, Chile is home to both high mountains and over 6,000 km of coast whilst being the southernmost country in the world and the closest to Antarctica in the south. The capital of Chile is Santiago where you’ll find a bustling metropolitan city with a population of around 7 million people, making it one of the largest cities in South America, although with one of the lowest crime rates.


This vibrant Latin country shares many of its high peaks with Argentina and is home to a variety of world-famous treks, namely the W Trek and the O Trek.
