Marketing Coordinator


We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Coordinator to work alongside our team in Penrith on the edge of the Lake District National Park.

Requirements


Enthusiasm: You need to be a quick learner, comfortable with picking up new information and working independently

IT savvy: You need to be fully IT literate, adept at using MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. The role will also require you to be comfortable using CMS and CRM systems

Communication: You need to be an excellent communicator with a flair for copy writing and content creation

Organisation skills: You need to have superb organisational skills and be detail oriented

Self-motivated: You need have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a real team player who is comfortable working in a growing team

Passion: You need some adventure travel experience or a genuine passion for adventure travel, especially trekking, climbing and kayaking

Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar marketing role within the travel industry

 

Responsibilities


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


·       Taking a leading role in building brand awareness and driving increased levels of enquiry to the business to support us in achieving our sales targets.

·       Ensuring that all online content conforms to the Kandoo Adventures brand book.

·       Liaising with product and sales teams to assist in the promotion of new products.

·       Supporting the development of the Kandoo Adventures website

·       Researching and creating online content such as blogs and travel guides

·       Producing twice monthly newsletters and driving client engagement

·       Managing Kandoo Adventures social media platforms


As a small team, we all regularly dip in and out of other roles to support each other when necessary. It is important you have good “team spirit” and are happy to chip in and support others during peak periods. As such, you will also receive training in our sales systems and processes.

 

Package and Salary


Full time - Permanent

This role comes with a salary of £24,000pa.

Enrolment in the NEST pension scheme.

Discretionary annual bonus up to 10% of your salary based on performance.

28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years
