Adventure Travel Sales Consultant

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Consultant to deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service to our clients and guide them through the booking process.


Passion: a genuine passion for adventure travel, hiking/trekking and the outdoors is essential. Your travel experience and eagerness to explore new destinations will be invaluable when speaking with our customers.

Communication: you need to be an excellent communicator and able to deliver very high levels of enthusiastic, sincere customer service, both on the phone and via email.

Team spirit: We're looking for a real team player who is comfortable working in and supporting a growing team.

Smart: you need to be a quick learner, comfortable with picking up new information and recalling an extensive product knowledge.

IT savvy: you need to be fully IT literate, adept as using MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. The role will also require you to be comfortable using a CRM system; full training will be provided.

Organisation skills: you need to have superb organisational skills and be detail oriented

Self-motivated: you need to be a self-starter with a strong desire to work in an fast-paced environment.

Travel: we're looking for someone who is able to travel when required to join our group adventures, in order to expand your knowledge of our products, and to meet with our wider team outside the UK.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years sales experience preferably within the travel industry.


Initially your responsibilities will focus on:

· Speaking with customers via phone and email to guide them through the booking process and secure the sale.

· Completing administration relating to each sale and liaising with our operations teams in the UK and our overseas destinations.

· Providing continued customer support and information for pre-trip planning.

· Chasing potential leads and selling Kandoo Adventures enthusiastically.

· Managing bookings through our CRM and processes.

Package and Salary

Full time - Permanent

This role comes with a salary of £21,000pa.

Enrolment in the NEST pension scheme.

Discretionary annual bonus up to 10% of your salary based on performance.

28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years
